Stellar Child Care Organization (SCCO) is looking for an experienced program manager to help us give children in Cambodia a bright future. Will you join our team in Andong, oversee the quality of our programs, and contribute to our ambitions and plans to further support the local community?
Stellar Child Care Organization (SCCO) is dedicated to breaking the circle of poverty in Andong, a village approximately twelve miles outside the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. We are looking for an international program manager to manage our programs, projects, and plans. You will work mostly on location in Andong, connecting the local staff with the international board.
Will you contribute to a bright future for the children in Andong?
As program manager you will play a key role in transforming the lives of the children in Andong. You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders – in Cambodia and elsewhere – to further develop sustainable solutions for the Andong community. You will manage our current programs and projects, and engage with existing and new partners in order to realize our ambitions and strategies for the future. Moreover, you will have plenty of space for exploring new initiatives.
Are you up for the challenge?
As a program manager, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating and constantly improving the SCCO programs and projects in Andong.
You will oversee our educational programs, and our family support activities. You will build solid networks that may aid the resilience and self-sufficiency of the Andong community, seeking new opportunities for income generating activities. In addition, you will coach the teachers and social workers in the local team, and stimulate staff members’ skills and growth mindset.
You will have an independent position, but you will have close contact with SCCO’s Dutch board member as well as professionals and volunteers in the Andong area. Also, you will communicate with a range of partners and stakeholders, including the Cambodian government, the local public school, and other NGOs.

Ideally, you will have experience with working in an international context, and the ability to successfully translate strategic and financial ambitions to effective programs and projects. Our ideal candidate for the job is result-driven and collaborative, and keen to stimulate feedback and reflection.

- You have good knowledge of written and spoken English.

- Up to date knowledge of grants, sponsorships and partnerships is preferred.
