About DARA Europe
DARA Europe is a Dutch foundation that supports the NGO Stellar Child Care Organization (SCCO) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We help children and their families with education and family programs so that they can build an independent and promising future.
What will you do?
As a volunteer Content Strategist & Creator, you will be the driving force and ultimately responsible for our online content. You will work hands-on to increase our visibility and contribute directly to fundraising efforts
– Determine and develop social media and website content strategy focused on fundraising.
– Writing and editing persuasive, target group-oriented texts in fluent Dutch and English.
– Ultimately responsible for the content calendar and ensuring consistent and professional online output.
– Analyze content results (reach, conversion) and proactively optimize strategy.
– Do you have specific expertise in video production/editing or graphic design? If so, we’d love to see how you can put these skills to use hands-on.
Within our MarCom working group we can divide tasks. Let us know where your interest and expertise lies.
Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on professional who:
✔ Has at least 3-5 years of demonstrable professional experience in both content strategy and content creation, ideally in an (online) marketing or communications role.
✔ Proven success in increasing online reach and generating conversion (e.g. donations or leads). ✔ Excellent writing and command of Dutch and English (near-native level). donations or leads).

✔ Highly capable of working independently, coming up with ideas and taking full ownership of the content cycle.
✔ Affinity with charities and non-profit projects.
